Michael is primarily responsible for advocating upskilling of the workforce to best prepare for future challenges in a digitally transformed world. Prior to the CLO role, Michael was Chief of Staff for Microsoft Middle East and Africa and Director for Developer Experience in Microsoft Gulf. Michael has over 25 years of industry experience in IT, Education, Telco and power generation across North America, Europe and the Middle East. He has also coached and mentored several start-ups. Michael holds an Electrical Engineering degree and Masters of Business Administration from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Michael is a frequent speaker at technology and business executive events, and actively promotes the need to cultivate a culture of learning and upskilling in a rapidly changing business landscape.
